Hello Ladies - a belated Happy New Year for 2012.

Just a little note for those who do not know me. I have been a member at Reading Golf Club, since 1973, I joined as a junior and I have enjoyed the game from the go (even if I started left handed). I have had support from Berkshire throughout my golfing life, and for this I thank them.

The season started for some of our players back in October with our Winter Scratch League, and also the Winter Knockout.

This year as always as a new Captain, I come in with high hopes for everyone to do well at all levels of golf. We have 1st and 2nd/3rd division meetings in the Spring and Autumn along with other events, please enter if you can and see new courses and meet other county members, during our golfing season.

The Tegner Trophy the qualifier for our County Championships this year will be held at Temple Golf Club on Friday 13th April, with the County Championships held over the weekend of 14th and 15th April also at Temple Golf Club, thank you Temple for allowing us to host this event, after this event I will announce the Team to represent Berkshire at County Week taking place this year at Mentmore Golf Club - Buckinghamshire from Monday 18th June to Friday 22nd June, if you are not in the team we would love to see you as a supporter.
