The Junior Championship - History
2011
The 2011 Berkshire Girls Championship was held at Sand Martins GC on Sunday 3rd July. Lizzie Swallow retained her title with a gross 77 and Emily Shaw was runner-up with 84.Eleanor Day won the Handicap Cup with a net 71 with Bella Cordwell runner up with a net 72. Katie Hayes won the 18 Hole Stableford competition, Bobbi Laisbury won the 9 Hole competition and Abigail Cordwell won the 9 Hole Short Course competition.
2010
The 2010 Berkshire Girls Championship was held at Winter Hill GC on Sunday 4th July from 2 pm. An 18 Hole Medal for girls with handicaps under 30 decided the Berkshire County Champion 2010 who is Lizzie Swallow of Newbury Racecourse Golf Club with a fantastic level par round of 73 gross.
Emily Savage (Goring & Streatley) was runner up with a gross 80 whilst Emily Shaw (Castle Royle) won the Handicap Trophy with a nett 72. Becky Webb (East Berks) won the 18 hole stableford competition with an excellent 39 points.
Nathalie Warke (Bearwood) ran out the winner in the 9 hole stableford competition with 21 points and Bethany Paterson won the short course 9 hole stableford with 18 points.
2009
The 2009 Berkshire Girls Championship was held at Winter Hill Golf Club on Sunday July 5th.
The main championship was an 18 hole Medal Competition open to members with handicaps below 30.
The Berkshire Girls Champion is the girl with the best scratch score. Our 2009 Berkshire Girls Champion
was Emily Savage
of Goring & Streatley GC with a gross 81. Laura Willoughby was runner up
with a gross 82.
In addition, there were handicap prizes, an 18 Hole Stableford Competition for
girls with handicaps between 31 and 36 and 9 Hole Fun Competitions for girls with club or county junior handicaps or with

The main championship was an 18 hole Medal Competition open to members with handicaps below 30.
